And so I sent a personal message to a friend I haven't gotten in touch with for a long time and greeted him belated happy birthday. And so I proceeded telling him about my latest misfortune, about losing my laptop and all that jazz, and then I asked him how he is. And then he said,
"Eto, two weeks na absent. Pabalik-balik sa Makati Med. Nagblack-out kasi ako, na-stitch yung lips at arms ko. Hindi pa alam yung reason for the black-out."
Tapos, pina-test siya ng kung anu-ano, shempre. ECG, 2D Echo, Holter, for the heart, EEG, CT Scan for the head, tapos nalaman pa daw na mataas ang cholesterol at liver enzyme sa blood niya ata, something, so pinapa-test siya ulit, CT-Scan with contrast naman. Pina-test pa daw siya for Hepa, buti negative naman. At ang masasabi ko dito eh, kumusta naman di ba?
Tinanong ko siya, "chubby ka ba ngayon?"
Sagot niya, "chuuuuubby."
I see, he still got his sense of humor. Buti naman. ###
